Hi All,
We all have come to know about the latest accounting statement by BPCL
BPCL site says
NEW DELHI- State-run oil refiner BPCL on Friday said its net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, rose 323.83 percent to Rs 3,962.83 crore from Rs 935 crore in the year-ago period.

And we all know that BP sells petroleum products in INDIA. At present we all know kerala witnessed a HARTAL to protest the hikes in petrol prices. After all we should never forget the facts.. These companies are making profits. If this is the case for a GOVT owed company then what about other private industries like Reliance and etc.

On the other hand lets weigh KSEB. A well established Power sector organisation in INDIA. We sell our product at lowest cost and end up with no profit, dissatisfied employees and customers. When we raise our issue everyone else blame us saying about our high salaried employees ( in fact a fun statement) and ineffective management of funds and people. So were do we stand now? when we sell our shares in stock market..
We also have a social commitment and we deliver our best in the industry. Still People treat us low. We but 1 unit from central for 10 to 15 bucks(approx) and sell it for 2 to 5 rs??

Now Oil companies says rupee has lost its value before dollar. So what we can do?? We are producing our product and end up selling at low rates??
Its time to wake up Friends.. Hope our people will recognize us and understand the issue if we can educate them all these facts.
PS: BPCL employee care statement!!!! People Above Oil
can we expect People above power???? in power industry????
