260 died in Elaectrical Accidents this year 2012-13

No. of Electrical accidents are increasing alarmingly .In 2010-11 the no.was 285, as per the unofficial reports upto October 2012 of this finncial year the no. has reached to 260, five months are more to complete this finncial year.50 % of this accidents are happening in consumer premises and the rest are from KSEB network.50% of accidents from KSEB networks are of KSEB staff and the rest is public.
How this can be reduced, we have to think and act immediately other wise lot of public and KSEB people will lose their life.

Its correct, Nobody making any efforts to avoid such mishaps specially due to negligence,laziness,careless and non standard procedures.
Its sad that the number of victims are increasing and its usual to fix a 'scapegoat' ( or a safe goat to sacrifice !!)and close the chapter.
It shall be better to remember Electricity doesn't recognize the forthcoming victim is a KSEB Engineer/Officer or Management.
Because of non standard practices (both in workmanship & Materials used) public should not be trapped
Because of non standard procedures Employees should not be trapped.
Because of laziness,negligence,careless and non-commonsense actions NEITHER Public NOR Employees should not be trapped
We need to educate public ourselves first and then public.
Hope to have an initiation from the association.
And/Or else we shall pray for our own safety
