RGGVY - Idukki District Scheme - Decision on introduction of Franchisee System a) Having considered the previous Board sanction to engage Kudumbasree Units as the Franchisee for Idukki District as Meter Readers and the latest Judgment on the Franchisee issue, it may be decided whether to take up the matter with concerned Kudumbasree authorities to identify the Members with the necessary qualification for Meter Readers as stipulated by KSE Board and to intimate their willingness to take up the works.
OR
b) Whether we may take up the matter with the Power Department of Government of Kerala to request to the Government of India to exempt Kerala from the mandatory condition of introduction of Franchisee System.
