We are not against purchase of meters from a public sector company,Those who are working in Distrn.Sections are well known that meters with one make are becomes faulty within hours and the consumer is complaining about the new meters.One set of meters received from stores with this make was automatically resetting the reading on first day of month, reading became zero on first day.For the last certain years there were dadakiri by this company to compell TMR people to give goodcertificate for these meters, some of the Engineers strongly defended it, some others moved in that line because of fear .At that time Assn strongly put the reality into media and that blocked further purchase of these disqualified meters. To purchase the meters, meters must be good quality.KSEB can purchase meter from Public Sector companies with higher rates than others but it must have good quality.
